You cannot get any kind of stability at the back if all your defenders manage to get injures all the time.

That's why Kimmich has been playing CB for a few weeks now, because we are in an emergency. Not even Schweinsteiger and Martinez at their best would be able to make this defense look good

This time it wasn't our high line, but individual and unacceptable mistakes. I know some people enjoy saying Pep is shit because we play with a ridiculous high line, but that was not the reason for our meltdown in the first half against Juve.

Exactly! Did Pep tell Alaba to take such a poor touch and leave Neuer in no mans land? Did Pep tell Benatia to stick his foot out like an idiot instead of taking down Morata? Some people blame Pep like American republicans who blame Obama for everything

The idiots have been selling away good midfielders for quite some time now. Ze Roberto, Sneijder and Robben to name a few.

I am sure we can but we need a J.Martinez-Vidal midfield duo. And a fit Boateng-Benatia pair. And decent tactics from pep.

If we were to play Barça, that would be the one game I'd be in favor of dropping the 2 winger + 2 Striker formation in favor of a 3 men midfield with Javi-Thiago-Vidal and Müller on the RW. You just *need* to contain the midfield passing to the MSN.

You have a point there, but I'd prefer to play with Robben and Costa on the wings. Both teams will leave space at their back and we also need to take advantege of it. We didn't do it last year cause we lacked pace, but this year we have the right players to do it.

I can see Robben scoring at least one curved shot :)

------------------Lewandowski------------------
Costa-----Thiago-------Mueller--------Robben
----------------------Vidal-------------------------
Alaba--------Boateng---Martinez---------Lahm
----------------------Neuer-----------------------

That team is not worse than theirs. I'd say 50-50

You can thank me later.

Alaba + Thiago against Messi, Martínez + Vidal against Suarez, Boateng + Lahm against Neymar.

Anyone think the back four vs MSN should be Lahm, Boateng, Alaba, and Bernat? I kno Bernat loafed last time vs Messi but with the pace of having Alaba and Boatenf centrally I feel would help more than Benatia or Javi....

As others have said, Martinez-Boateng is our best bet. That said, both these guys have been out for some time so it'll depend on a lot of factors. I like Benatia and won't mind it if he plays.
