That's usually the character of a final :-"

I don't know. I believe that we could win against Barca but it would be a difficult task. Now if we didn't have all these injuries it would be a different ballgame. However, we got to get past Juve first....

if I have to face Barca I prefer it to be before the final...
I would prefer Real in the final

The answer is simple: analyse the goals we conceded last year against them. Schoolboy defending. In Camp Nou and Allianz even worse. With such defending issues, it doesn't take Barcelona to beat us, anyone can. Porto almost humiliated us, if not for the second leg turnaround. So, with a full team it's close. With important absences, especially in defence, very difficult. Juve exploited our weakest link, Barca will probably hammer us with that defensive setup. Apart from Boateng I don't see anyone from our roster to be a reliable CB for bigger games. central defence is haunting us since 2010, I can't believe it still goes on. It's February and we are already playing our plan c in defence.

A fit, healthy and in-form Bayern team- which includes Alaba at LB, Boateng at CB, Lahm at RB- yes. But if its Bernat and Alonso starting- then forget it.

We can beat them but not with this highline that is so invulnerable against counters. As König stated above, when Carlo brings us balance we will beat them.

They've been taking it a notch down lately. The result vs Arsenal was very unfair; didn't take Arsenal even a counter to get into the small box before missing their chances and the game vs Sevilla - again - showed their build up and ball retention is bellow their usual first half of the season levels. At the risk of sounding obvious, Messi is still running this show - alone. Mark him out/Neuer him down; there's a good 50/50 Bayern's six beat Barza's three.

I think that our midfield and defence is better than theirs when fit. First leg being at allianz might be very crucial.

And their results haven't been too good recently. They have have playing at a high level for a long time and they are supposed to regress back to a more normal capability.
On the other hand, we are improving as a team and with the injured people coming back, I'd give us a solid chance of beating Barca. It will be a 50/50 match though.

I think we have the better chance to defeat them in a final rather than over two legs. Why? Our away form combined with their home form, of course.

I think this team can hurt Barca away and at home in my opinion, I would hate for a Messi moment of magic to derail us in the final....

Barcelona has an advantage in the quality of their forwards. Messi, Neymar and Suarez alone can open and find holes for generate attacks and goals, with their quality, the rest of the team can be more focus on defense.

So in order to beat Barcelona, Bayern in 180 minutes have to show more quality in their offensive players than MSN. Robben, Costa, Ribery, Muller and Lewandowski have to carry the team on offense by themselves, in order to give a major role on defense to the rest of the team.

Everything start in being well positioning. If Bayern pretends to attack Barcelona with a high line defense, then we will facilitate all the job to the trio MSN for directly attack and damage our goal when Barca recover the ball, as what happen in the first half of the match in Allianz Arena.
Super-Bayern! Super-Bayern! Hey! Hey!
