Hasn't Simeone lost 2 league matches against Barça this season? I remember 1.

it's about the approach... The way they play is the only way to beat Barca.

New question: Can this Bayern team (and coach...) beat any of the remaining teams?

Of course not. We should cancel our participation in the CL for this season.
With Ancelotti everything will be better.
Sané ---- Lewandowski ---- Gnabry
Davies - Thiago - Kimmich - Dest
Hernández -- Alaba -- Upamecano
--------------- Neuer ----------------

We are also - by far - the best squad in there... But that's not the question ;)

Atletico has a system that can scrape a result even when they play like shit... They're dangerous for teams like Barca and us. That's the thing with the teams that give importance to defense more than attack...

We need to get healthy at the center back position and hopefully Boateng's imminent return is soon rather than later. Also Robben coming back healthy will be a huge plus!

Any of the remaining teams can beat us. That's the truth. But we're also the strongest left and we're the ones none of them want to face. It's not going to be easy but with two underdogs left, this might be the best shot we'll get for the next few years.

That's kind of how we've been doing the last couple of weeks, so I'm actually quite happy to see us winning without completely demolishing the game. Because in the past two years, the only alternative is losing stupidly.

We can say we're not playing as well as we should be but I'm quite excited that we are capable of just grinding the shit out of results this year. Shows that we can win in a lot of ways. I'd be thrilled to face Atletico to put this to the test.

A bit of an exaggeration for me, with the quality on the squad Bayern always have a shot at taking the title home just as much as Barca or Real for example, especially since we have recently extended some core players.

Not to mention we've now come from behind twice in the CL knockout games.

True, but this year we have Barca out of the way, a Real that's having a relatively bad season, and an inexperienced Man City who are also playing quite bad. We can win it every season but I think at this point we are strong favourites

If you put it that way then I agree, this season may be the most favorable scenario Bayern get to win the UCL.
