I remember some Bayern fans being okay with him leaving, saying that he was a dissapointment simply because he didn't win the CL. I think people got a bit used to success sometime after 2013 and started lacking perspective. Same thing happened in Dortmund, a club where you really shouldn't expect trophies. After great 3 years 2011, 2012, 2013 fans started to complain that season 2013/2014 was average (1/4 CL, easily 2nd in BL, Pokal final which is a very good season objectively speaking for a growing club like BVB) etc.

That's what success does to you, you want more and more and sometimes you forget to stop and realise that what you have at the moment is great.

Hostile and manipulative: Breaking down Bild’s exploitation of Bayern Munich’s crisis

Here’s the story of how one of the biggest newspapers in Germany is taking advantage of football fans for reasons of its own.

The DFL will start its own esports league next year with many Bundesliga clubs - but without FC Bayern - after Uli Hoeneß had positioned himself as an opponent of this sport, and cancelled plans to launch an esports department at Bayern [AZ]

With the latest transfermarkt updates, Bayern are sitting in the 11th place on the list of the most valuable teams at the moment.

The funny thing is that the players with the biggest market drops are the people that most of the people want out of the club:

- Müller,Martinez,Hummels,Boateng,Robben,Ribery and we can add James in this list, at least for his huge market price downgrade. Neuer is also sitting on 22m.

I don't know if there is still people who believe in the players mentioned above (except Neuer and James - for now). All 30 yo or more, if we theoretically sell the first 6 players on the list - i'm not sure that we can take more than 110m - 120m for all of them.

Don't sleep on the problems my friends. It's a football club. When you have positives - celebrate them big and loud, but for only 30 seconds. When you have negatives - sit down and search for solutions - 24 hours per day. This is the only way that you cannot repeat your mistakes. Everything else is a self-deception and does not matter.

The team needs at least 2 or 3 years to shake off from our current level. But a lot of work needs to be done.
The summer will show us the course that the team will take.

but can we play with a team full of 23 year olds ?
A team needs balance and experience.
With youths you win 0 ...
