2019/2020 Bayern Surveys+Results Thread

Postby aterford » Sat Oct 05, 2019 11:26 pm

Hi again all,

A bit late with making the thread this year (I could've sworn I did already, but I guess not...), but as last year, wanted to have a centralized place to keep surveys and results so as to not spam other threads (well, not too much, anyways  )

Unfortunately your boy has been sick as a dog for the past couple of weeks so I must admit that this first roundup of results is fairly barebones with minimal commentary or presentation. Still, you may find it interesting, so without much more fanfare, here's the results of the past few rounds of surveys.

If you are unfamiliar with the scoring legend, check out this link to get an idea for how the scoring breaks down (and of course fill out this week's latest survey if you haven't!), but basically for players/managers it's a scale of 1-10, 1 being worst and 10 being man of the match.

Okay, anyways. First up is BL Matchday 1, 2:2 vs Hertha Berlin.

Not sure it’s good to post this here - as far as keeping the thread clean goes...

Maybe the mods can delete it later on...

A few ideas: I know it’s tough and a lot if wirk, but it would be great if survey results were available faster... though... In between games is probably a dream right?

Also I think it'd be interesting to not just ask about the change in confidence in Kovac but the actual level of confidence in him/rating... and the team... Plus expectations towards the next game / And overall season (trophies, rounds, etc...)

No worries at all mate. Generally I wait a couple of days before posting results not because I don't have time to compile them (although occasionally that is the case) but rather to just allow a bit more time for responses to come in, folks who didn't see the original posting(s), had to watch the game later, etc, but admittedly could stand to at least be a bit more expedient... ;)

I have been meaning to add a bit more "prediction" type questions too, so I'm glad you brought that up as well, definitely wanna start getting that worked in. Appreciate the feedback!!

Maybe it’s also possible to have the link stickied in the opening post as well?
I figure that way it might get more exposure than being posted once or twice by you randomly among 576 other posts...

Hey @MUTU I would if these survey and results could be linked with our match thread. You and @aterford would probably have to do a little coordinating but is it a viable option? Seems a bit wasteful to let all this data go to waste.

Here are your results for Bayern 1:2 vs Hoffenheim, BL Matchday 7

Kovac's Manager Rating - 3.4

Muller - 7.2
Lewy - 7.0
Pavard - 5.4
Kimmich - 5.2
Neuer - 5.2
Thiago - 4.9
Gnabry - 4.9
Boateng - 4.9
Sule - 4.9
Coman - 4.8
Perisic - 4.7
Coutinho - 4.1
Tolisso - 3.7

Overall Team Performance - 3.3

Current Worry/Panic Level - 5.5 (lower is better)

Overall Confidence in Niko Kovac:
64% Decreasing
36% No change

Overall "mood" regarding the team:
60% Declining/less confident
40% No change

Bonus Question: Should Müller be playing more?
82% - He should be playing more
15% - He's currently playing as much as he should be
3% - He should be playing less

Bonus Question: Assume Bayern sign Sane in Summer 2020 and have the funds to make one more big move. They should....
61% - Sign Havertz
21% - Sign neither Havertz nor Coutinho - the money is better invested elsewhere
18% - Sign Coutinho

Of course we have the international break coming up. I know a time or two last season I used the breaks to put out some quick "season thus far" type of surveys, kind of to try and get a feel for the direction things are headed, your predictions for the rest of the season, surprises, stuff of that nature. Will probably be whipping that up here in a few days, so if you have any specific questions for that type of "non-match" survey you'd like to see included, feel free to drop them here in the thread and I will try and get those worked in at some point.

"I genuinely believe this Bayern team is good enough to win CL without at least 4 to 5 teams having a complete meltdown/severe crisis"

"I see actual development":

1.) "by the team itself (i.e. Kovac is improving our game)"
2.) "regarding our transfers (i.e. we're getting stronger every window)"

" I think our squad is big enough to achieve all our goals (i.e. play for the treble)"

" I think our squad is good enough to achieve all our goals (i.e. play for the treble)"

"I believe Hoeness' influence will change once he's not head of the supervisory board anymore"

Maybe I can think of some more...

86% against signing Coutinho, the player with the far warst rating... Just let that sink in for a moment about our new Iniesta...
