Thomas Müller risks to be the biggest loser of this change. Coutinho would play as 10 behind Lewandowski. Coman on the left, Gnabry on the right. Only a place on the bench remains for Müller [@cfbayern, SportBild]

Finally!

I don't believe it for one second. Müller will be forced onto the pitch.

If only Goretzka could adapt to that role...

We need Marc Roca anyways. Either as Thiago partner or to be his back up. [-o<

Put Pavard for Sule. Or Boateng. We lost most important goals and most important matches last years with Sule in squad.

Kovač on the system: "We played several systems last season. It does not depend on the system, but on the profiles of players that fill in the positions. We now have a good, flexible squad. The bosses kept their promise."

Can't wait till he doesn't give a shit about profiles again and puts Müller at CM or RW.

Or, you know, uses lack of reinforcements as an excuse...

To be honest I still prefer 4-2-3-1 or 4-1-4-1 because with a striker like Lewandowski we definitely need to attack through the wings and play crosses and we definitely have the players for it

Alaba, Coman, Kimmich, Gnabry

We need a CDM though

That 3 at the back formation is a good variation if we need more presence in midfield or to cope up with high pressing teams, but not the best long term solution IMO

Are there any stats who is scoring most headers among our players (including newcomers)?
From action and from set pieces.

Well, considering that Lewy has scored pretty much every Bayern goal this season so far I think that's a very easy question :coffee:

I mean who but Lewy will score headers from set pieces.
Otherwise Lewandowski will be sandwiched between four enemy defenders.
I.e. Hummels was quite good in headers.

Well, no one, really. Pavard seems decent in the air, but nowhere near Hummels. And Lucas stays behind(which is excellent, IMO. Harder to counter). I doubt Coutinho or Perisic will have a shout and Cuisance doesn't look the type to wrestle through set pieces.
