Now that's very pessimistic from you, my friend.

We are doing fantastic so far and let's just keep our positive thoughts flowing. Injuries and Sarr's issue are something we can't avoid and if you recall just a month ago, we were running with the time to secure those 4-5 players before the transfer deadline.

Without that all everything would have been way more challenging and hard for us.

Just don't attract crisis where there isn't any. Nonetheless, the season is so long that many things can change 10 times by May.

Our focus is to keep doing everything as we do, looking to the next match and that's it. The season goal is to win the last extra trophy the Club World Cup.

So unless Roca transforms into Thiago midseason and Richards becomes the next Rafinha, I'm afraid to say that the Treble is off the cards :(

On a more optimistic note though: Bayern have never been so lethal at counterattack football since 2013. This Bayern team can kill any team on the break given the precision of our midfielders, pace of our midfielders and the accuracy of Robert Lewandowski!
Wow dude calm down, trophies are decided next year not now.

Yeah. I'm not too worried at the moment. Both Davies and Kimmich should be back by January, it sounds.
And there's "only" ~10 games between now and then: Bremen (9), Stuttgart (8), Leipzig (2), Union (5), Wolfsburg (6), Leverkusen (4) in the BL; Salzburg, Atletico, and Moscow in the UCL, and just Kiel in the Pokal in late December.

That's not a super easy schedule by any means. But we're already up in the league and should have the quality to - at worst - probably come away with ~4 wins from those 6 matches.
We're on top of our UCL group, and unless we lose all three remaining matches it's hard to see us not advancing out of the group stage.
In fact, by my count, at this point there's only one outcome in which we wouldn't advance out of groups:
1. Bayern loses vs Salzburg, Atletico, and Moscow. (a win in any single match guarantees we are through, no matter what happens elsewhere. A single point likely puts us through too, depending on goal differential)
2. Salzburg wins out (Bayern, Moscow, Atletico) to put them on 10 points
3. Atletico wins vs Moscow and Bayern to put them on 10 points
Maybe my math is wrong, but with Bayern on 9pts, Atletico on 4pts, Moscow on 2pts, and Salzburg on 1 after 3 matchdays, I'm pretty sure that's the only way we don't advance.

And of course we should certainly be favored vs Kiel. So, it is what it is. Might drop some points in the BL, and maybe even in the UCL, but as far as end-season goals go, it's just a small bump in the road. Certainly having both Kimmich and Davies out is less than ideal but it's far from season-derailing.

Before Davies is back we can do this...

Neuer

Pavard Sule Boateng Lucas

Leon. Alaba

Gnabry. Mueller. Sane

Lewa

With Tolisso and Roca and Javi Nianzou in rotation with the cbs, and the cms

*Flick will obviously use Buona

I agree, Kimmich out is the time to start looking into Alaba in midfield.

if he plays well in this position, we might reconsider his contract , I cannot feel calm with Tolisso and Martinez, not to say next year, either of them is leaving.

But the problem lies on who will take the rwb spot... as I don't see Pavard playing in that super offensive role

Sule Alaba Lucas

X Kimmich Leon Davies

Serge Mueller
Lewa

Sane and Coman as the serge - thomas subs

I actually think Pavard might be better suited for that role. He is good going forward and would have to track back little.

Still, I don’t think it should be our main formation, but it’s a decent alternative when we have some injuries or so. I don’t think Alaba/Süle are worth sacrificing Säne/Coman/Müller for.

After some time and Kahn's recent statements, I guess this is how our team should look like next season(hopefully Boateng is finally kicked out of FC Bayern).

I didn't add Neuhaus and I removed Tolisso from the team(expection to be sold), but I still see lack of quality in depth, primarily RB and 4th winger along with the CM where top quality player such as Thiago hasn't been compensated and I don't have high hopes to see this happening in summer 2021, either.

Even LB without Hernández looks empty in case of Davies' injury as it already happened this season and can be expected in future, too.

Pavard can continue to serve as a backup RB. And the whole thing with Richards, Mai and Bright-Mbi is very unclear, though.
Right now I have some question marks about Süle's future at FC Bayern. He hasn't proven us he is a top stuff for the next 6-7 years although he looked promising, but this season he compromised literally everything. [-X

There is also Batista Meier who plays for Heerenveen on loan this season as a potential solution for 4th winger.

A lot of things depend on young players to save the whole thing like Goretzka and Davies last season or else we have troubles with the board and our almost sterile transfer policy.

Generally speaking, we have a great team for Bundesliga and Pokal campaign that can continue with the domination in Germany. In Europe sometimes it's not enough, but well... The current life situation in the entire world makes things even more unpredictable.

I suspect that, possibly because of lack of transfer money, we might be looking at Kimmich returning to RB and a Goretzka-Roca partnership in midfield near the end of this season and then next season.

Roca has consistently played well the few times he was called upon. I don’t think he’s had a single bad game when he played a decent amount of time. A few days ago he was praised by Kahn and Brazzo seems to want him to get more chances too. Meanwhile, he’s settling more and more with time, Tolisso continues to struggle and it looks like we might cash on in him, so I expect Flick to call upon Roca more. Pavard improved last game, but we’ll have to wait and see whether he manages that consistently, and anyway Richards is now gone and Flick seems to have given up on Sarr (preferring Süle) so Kimmich at RB may become more tempting.

I think the CWC will offer Roca an opportunity just before we start heading into two games a week and the need for rotation again. I really hope he takes it.

we need four cm... Kimmich / Leon combo and Roca / Tolisso as their natural subs.

Don't forget we also have Javi so far. It's much easier to find good midfielders, even cheap ones...

I think we'll go with Goretzka, Roca, someone new, then Kimmich doubling between RB and CM as necessary. After all Pavard and Sule will probably still be here.

Btw I'm not sure I actually want Kimmich to move back to RB. I think he's an absolute beast of a midfielder - though of course he is as a RB too.

imo TAA is more complete...
originally Kimmich was a mdf... having said that I still prefer him over Pavard
