Why aren't we closing this thread until we have a real coach? Cause there are no tactics and there's only one formation... Period...

Some game we played in 4-1-4-1 / 4-2-3-1 with Guardiola and Müller behind Lewandowski (and with a real defense most time of the game)

5-1 against Wolfsburg in one halft after a 4-3-3 in the first half.

5-1 against Dortmund.

5-1 against Arsenal

2-1 against Atletico

4-0 against Köln

3-1 against Schalke

Spoiler: show

- Neuer
- 2 fullback
- 2 CB
- Vidal
- Thiago OR Alonso OR Kimmich
- 2 wingers (or one winger and Götze)

11 goals by Lewandowski and 6 goals by Müller. But "Müller and Lewandowski together doesn't work. We should put Lewandowski on the bench, he isn't better than Costa, Aguero, Benzema, Cavani. Müller as #9 would be better" :coffee:

2 main problem :

- fullback who play way too high at the same time

- Lewandowski who is alone in attack

Solution : 4 - 2 - Müller - 3

I don't know how Carlo has not realized this yet!! Muller and Lewa were the top scorers because they played off each other and forced CBs to make tough decisions! Now both are isolated and have become easier to mark out of games....

Javi and Muller in the midfield would be a goddam change..
Midfield would be ocupied.. (Javi good work rate would cover our defense and Muller would ocupy the middle of the final third, linking with Lewy, conecting all the team..)
This would bring balance in all areas
with most benefits to our defense.. and how we need that..
May Bayern rule the world again!

I don't know how, on a social point of view, using Martinez in midfield with Vidal and put Alonso, Thiago, Sanches and Kimmich on the bench or in the stand ... is viable.

People usually say we're only fans and the coach knows better but at this point I doubt he even watched most of our games last season...

But someone say both together = shit and only Müller should play.

Assumptions:

Javi Martinez is the same player in 2016 that he was in 2013.

Just like how people thought Lahm was the same fullback he was before Pep came in and made him a CM.

I saw a prime Essien that was a beast turn into a very average player after his injuries, etc. Similar to Javi, I highly doubt the Martinez we saw in 2013 is the same as the 2016-17 version.

Even barca's thiago isn't the same as 2016-17 thiago after his injuries.

I personally hate it when fans think they know better than the manager since he trains with the players, talks with the players, and is able to see each players individual skills but at this point it's becoming too obvious what is wrong and either Carlo is oblivious to the situation or to stubborn to care!

He was our best player at the begining of the season.
