Bild claims that we'll play 4-3-3... Mueller trained intensively for his new role on the right side(which is not that new IMO as he played there before for the NT and when Robben was injured under Jupp).

Actually I think with Jupp he played there permanently before Kroos got injured.

Mueller played really well there... it was the reason why Robben was benched even after recovering.

I think that saying "he was good on the right" is a slight injustice to Müller as a player. For me Müller is the same under any of his coaches (i.e. van Gaal, Jupp, Löw, Pep) - his raumdeutering is always effective in the box, contributing to most of our goals and it doesn't matter what his nominal starting position is.

Yes, about Robben being benched. Considering Müller rarely gets injured, is it safe to assume that Robben will spend the rest of the season (or contract) on the bench?

There will be games that he'll be needed but I don't see Mueller being benched for him, only subbed off sometimes. We'll need to rotate a lot to keep everyone happy...

I think Carlo will use Vidal and Martinez in the 2 DM slots once Boa is back with Thiago in a slightly more advanced creative role. Sanches for me is still a bit raw to start week in week out.

I would prefer two natural wingers and muller in front of vidal and martinez. As thiago and alonso seemed invisible when pressing and defending against dortmund.

Fun fact: Thiago was our top tackler on Sunday.
She’s beauty, she’s grace, if u tell her she only watches football for the attractive players she’ll punch u in the face.

Total ho for Thiago :P
