If there's a day (in the foreseeable future) where everyone is fit, I'd like to see:

In a 4-2-1-2-1

Subs: Martinez for Alonso, Mueller for Robben, Ribéry for Götze

so now...
thiago and ribery,in all probability are back!
now gotze is in sublime form and will not be benched....
muller and robben are a must too
thiago CAN NOT replace xabi....
then even after taking rotation into consideration
the writing is on the wall it seems...
its BYE BYE for shaqiri and hojbjerg!coz i don't think even gaudino will get too many chances!
so hojbjerg will probably be loaned out...and shaqiri will be sold?

Shaqiri and Hojbjerg are unsettled. They want more playing time and when they get it, they don't prove they're the better option. Both will be sold for me. Hojbjerg didn't want to be loaned in the summer and has been harping about his playing time in the press. Gaudino is young. First team experience is a bonus not a necessity.

So with Thiago back I can actually see Lahm going back to RB as it seems he's been playing a lot of that position lately. Maybe that'll mean Rafinha takes the bench and occasionally comes on.

As the days go by, it seems pointless to even guess tactics and formations since Pep can play so many different formations and always put out an effective squad… I LOVE OUR FLEXIBILITY!

Thiago as a 6 doesn't look too defensively reliable whenever I've seen him there. We might revert to a 4-1-4-1, with Alonso as the single pivot and Lahm stepping up when Alonso needs a rest until Basti comes back. If the front 5 do their proper share of defensive work, playing with a single pivot shouldn't be a problem.

Knowing Pep however, I'm expecting something totally out of the blue.

I can see this although I doubt Müller will be left out.

This is my ideal starting eleven to be honest, with Rafinha being subbed in for Götze at times to let Lahm move into midfield... Shame for Müller, though. Thiago + Goetze are beasts together. At some point in the season I expect a 3-4-3 with Alonso as CB and Schweini + Thiago at midfield.

The trouble will be when Schweinsteiger comes back. With Thiago and Ribery back I still don't feel that Pep has such a heavy selection headache. Not yet at least (only in the knockout CL stages). In my opinion Muller, Robben and Lewandowski are must starters for our front five which leaves two slots for Thiago/Gotze/Ribery and that sort of rotation is not a headache.

Ideally I would like to see Goetze--Muller--Thiago--Robben behind Lewandowski.

When Schweinsteiger comes back I got no clue what are Pep's plans.

And Pep often changes the formation during games. I am 100% certain I have seen a very similar formation during one of these past Bundesliga games, with Alonso as the single pivot.

Because we rarely scores in free kicks... why we never try this? Short passing in a FK, Pep's mind blown.

Overral Bayern never have seemed to make the most out of set pieces. But Benatia did miss a couple headers vs BvB.
