Don't take me wrong, I like him, I just don't think he is close to a level to bench those guys mentioned (Ribery, Schweini, Oezil)

All the mentioned players have huge potential and there's no saying what they will be like at their prime. Maybe Kroos will be three times better than the rest, maybe he will be the worst of the lot.

Ribéry has the 6th best Goal/Assist record of the B'Liga and the highest for a non striker; outpacing Cissé, Reus & even Goetze. Why exactly or rather based on what notion are we to bench one of the best wingers in Germany exactly?

Exactly. Even with many games injured in the past years, he had way more assists and goals than everyone else...

And as for Schweini, need I remind everyone how bad our midfield was without him with almost every team owning us?

In 2 years I see Kroos benching anyone. I like Ozil but back in Werder Diego was the man & much better than Ozil. Marin had insane dribbling skills, 1000 times better than Reus of Goetze but look at him now. His all round game is average & he did not really develop,

If you want to compare ages Kroos was the best player in the world at his age category (U-17) & I dont thinkj Reus,Goetze or Ozil were that.

Age is a non-issue here. I dont count Kroos as a winger anyway. He is a CAM/CM. But I feel that he was nowhere last year. This season he has been immense. He is practically our No.1 FK/Corner taker ahead of Robbery. Both Robben & Ribery will get older & Kroos will get better. Who knows where Kroos will end up. Just a good player or an Out-stading player. It's all hypothetical.

Thanks for the highlights. Nice penalty save by the keeper. I think Robben should always takes penalties when available.

Schweini has been deadly at penalties until now, don't know why his was saved.

Probably a little bit of complacency as it was near the end of a mid season friendly that was already won. It shouldn't happen with professionals, but does. Just hope he doesn't do that when it counts!!!
