I agree we need at least 2 friendlies before the restart, I'm surprised we didn't play any in Doha even if it was just one against an Arabian side for money/ promotion etc. Maybe the fact that we play our first game after the restart on a Friday has thrown off the schedule and meant it wasn't feasible for us to play a 2nd friendly when we came back from Doha. If we had played next Saturday instead then another Friendly on Tuesday would work a lot better.

What a joke of a match. Everyone except Kimmich and Neuer has been uninterested.

Absolutely not a penalty, but kudos to the ref for giving the obvious red, which many refs wouldn't give in a friendly.

Hopefully this all comes down to the lack of motivation, and we'll play better from next week on.

For a few season now, I've been wondering if leaving the cold winter in Germany and moving to the sunny training camp is a good decision. It's becoming kind of a tendency now that we are playing terrible after coming back.
