I have to say our defense looks strong and if we keep last season's lineup, then none of our 4 usual defenders are playing (Boateng is but in a different position). Let's hope they do just as well on the field as they should in theory.

This match won't be easy as Beijing have a very clear fitness advantage since they are already playing competitive matches for a while.

Starke, Mandzukic, Contento, Dante, Kroos, Tymo, Shaqiri, Pizarro

I assumed that Lahm, Schweini and Alaba would be starting. But yeah, we have players like Rafinha, Van Buyten, Weiser and Can who might not make it to the bench. Maybe our bench will also vary from game to game.

Beijing Guoan is sitting fifth on the local league table, with a 0 goal difference (20 goals for and against). They have won their local league once, four times their FA cup and 3 times the super cup. BTW, do we have a chat app tonight?
