Hojbjerg seems off in general - he slows down the tempo of our game and keeps playing with his head glued to the floor, ignoring teammates around him. Not encouraging, for now at least.

Don't be silly. Neuer is a Starke thing and Javi hasn't played in a thousand full moons. Not playing either one is plausible. Neither are linked to forgotten football either.

I think Gotze is not fit yet, as Boateng because they began preseason recently.

But despite this, Bernat started the game, so it said good things from his physical condition.
