I really hope that Reserve teams of clubs like Bayern, Dortmund, Monchengladbach, Wolfsburg and Schalke can get promoted to the 3 Liga soon.
That way maybe the gap between the youth teams and senior teams will be lesser and the German clubs will have a better chance in European competitions with more youth breaking into the senior team.

Last time Bayern II was in 3.Liga the likes of Alaba, Muller and Badstuber made up the ranks....

I know what you're trying to say but you made it sound like Alaba, Mueller and Badstuber got FC Bayern II relegated

In reality, the team got relegated in 2011. Badstuber and Mueller were promoted in summer 2010 (Mueller had played less than a handful of matches before then). You could argue that their promotions caused Bayern II to get relegated. In January 2011, Alaba was loaned out to Hoffenheim, which meant that when Bayern II were relegated neither of these three players were playing for them.

That's my point. If the reserve teams of top clubs can reach and stay in the third division then it will be a tremendous help to the senior teams in CL/EL.

With 1860 in the 4th division this year things don’t look good. However, from next year onwards getting the second team promoted to the 3 Liga should be a top three priority. If you don’t believe in spending astronomical money and want to follow the old fashioned route, then at least make sure that your upcoming players are playing at the highest possible national league.

Ajax, another club committed to developing talent has their second team, Jong Ajax play in the Ereste divisie. I know that’s not possible in Germany (Bayern 2 playing in the 2 BL) but at the very least get them to play as high as possible on the pyramid.

P.S. Also, why the hell are the League players also not playing in the Uefa Youth league? The lineups look totally different for the league and European games. Shouldn’t the more promising players get more games and against potentially better opponents?

I might sound like a broken record, but I repeat that if Bayern want to compete at the very top level and win the CL, without spending astronomical amounts of money like some other clubs, then getting Bayern II up in the 3 Liga and making sure that they stay there should be one of Bayern’s top priority.

This season looks like a lost cause with 1860 looking destined to win the league, but next year after the WC getting Bayern II promoted and ensuring that they stay there has to be a major priority for the club.

Depending only on youth is pure crazy and all of stuff regarding it is pure demagogy from MGT to drop prices. l can't blame them, since if they say that they would spend 150-200 m euros on one player, The other clubs will ask for more money.

Like Brazzo pointed out lately, our goal is signing top talents quicker and developing them with world class signings.

though l agree with your point, we must also have feeders clubs to develop our talents or partnerships.

Bayern II are now six points behind 1860. Not gonna get too ahead of myself but it would be fantastic if these guys can secure promotion!

How naive are you? He betrayed the country where he was born, brought up and learned all he needed to learn to become a millionaire... in order to have an opportunity to play for a national team because he sees limited chances with the German NT.
