Bayern II are five points clear at the too with nine matches left. This season the club has to make sure that the promotion happens for the Amateurs. Hope the guys can get it done!

FCB's rival, VfB Eichstätt, lost to lowly Heimstetten today 3:2!
With only three matches remaining to play, FCB II now have a six point lead and a +16 goal differential.
One win to go to win the league and make the promotion playoffs.

Given that the closest rival to FC Bayern II who have actually paid for a licence to play in the 3rd division are FC Memmingen who are 25 points behind, FC Bayern II have long made the promotion playoffs. They're just playing for fun at the moment.

the playoff games will occur on the 22nd and 26th of May, and they will most likely be against Wolfsburg II. I believe the second game is at home in Munich.

our fans protested the rumor that Sebastian Hoeneß will take over as trainer for FCBII next season in place of Holger Seitz. IF this rumor is true, that's absolutely disgusting.... the guy has NOT proven himself as a coach, especially for a team that may be promoted to the third division next season. The only possible way that this would remotely be okay is if Seitz has a better job offer somewhere else and he's leaving on his own accord... and even then, there are plenty of trainers better qualified to lead FCBII than Sebastian Hoeneß....
