Sounds like something I would do for an England v Germany match (or Scotland or Wales v Germany). Pretend to be German while not giving a fuck what the English thought

Ok maybe I wouldn't be brave enough to reveal my allegiances in such a way but I would be unable to even get off my seat for an England goal, and may let it slip should Germany score a late winning goal :P

In the meantime yest Spain registered a world record of possession - an 83.5 % 962 v 197 passes - Ramos making 133 alone...
Previous record was against Lichtenstein (Spain) they had 80% and won 8-0

I told you I can't remember a more one-sided game as far as stats go.

Italians.... are over enthusiastic and overjoyed atm...
Just because they put six behind Liechtenstein

I was watching a feature on sportmediaset and I almost fell from my chair

It's all due to the Liechtenstein's anthem - mentally they're conditioned into thinking that they trashed England

But I'm sure they will hear your cries after scoring double digits 8)

Hopefully with Ramos scoring a Panenka \:D/

I saw the game vs Swe.
We did ok.
But that early goal made a big impact...
Seconds before the H.T the Swe keeper made a super reflex save which could have given us a big boost.

All our players sang the nat.anthem even those born in Nigeria

A lesson to the half Germans who don't do so

Yeah I‘m sure they were occupied watching GNTM or some other actual competition...

And around two minutes after finishing singing conceded a goal. If singing the anthem is supposed to give you a boost or something, it didn't exactly play out well for Malta yesterday.

Our best players were Joseph Mbong and Henry Bonello. The former is usually deployed in a more advanced role with his club but with the NT he has been utilised as a WB. Even though he is doing well I still think that it is a waste playing him in that position.

Was Mbong born in Nigeria? I was under the impression he was born in Malta to Nigerian parents.

In any case he played for our youth teams so he must have spent most of his life here.

Doesn’t matter to him, in his world there are races, nationality "by blood" and a big superiority complex
