Nenad Bjelica ; I made a quick search and found that he had coached Spezia in 14-15 plus in the year 2000 he had won the Cro player of the year.

Not sure what to expect from Netherlands-Northern Ireland tonight. On paper should be pretty easy for the Dutch but Northern Ireland started well.

imo Ger should hope for an Oranje win ... such result will end the NIR hopes as they will have two games more than the Ger

Hilarious that Southgate still hasn’t made a sub. Even more hilarious that some think England can actually win EURO 2020.

I d t that one game is enough to justify that.

IMO in Europe only Spain and France are better.

If one has to compare their team with that of Germany , the only pos in which Ger fares better is the GK pos.

I just can't wait for the next Croatia match against Wales. It's going to be the match where we could easily secure 1st place and qualify on Euro 2020 if we win in Cardiff.
The last match is Slovakia in front of our crowd that we trashed like nobody before in our history, so I'd like to see winning all three last games. 2 days ago we really showed Hungarians in Split and returned for the unlucky defeat in Budapest, now Wales and Slovakia and we're done! :)

Can't wait to watch Euro 2020. =P~ :P

Germany is better in every position except the striker (maybe. Kane is overrated) and Sterling, if Löw picked his players well.

Southgate yesterday wasn’t even deserving of polishing Kovac’s shoes, and you know how I feel about Kovac. He was absolutely atrocious. The lineup was terrible with much better players on the bench, tactics were non-existent (if you hated Bayern playing at the back in recent years, we had nothing on them yesterday), he took ages to make subs and then made nonsensical ones.

They may have won all their other qualifiers but that says nothing. Their group is incredibly easy. Their defence is really terrible, they also let in 3 vs Kosovo last round.

You say one game isn’t enough but I say one tournament isn’t enough to say they’re suddenly good. In the WC they pretty much rode on overrated Kane’s form.

The circa 2010 England team was way better than this one.

I did not see the game tbh but I see them as a very compact team. Do not forget the new young players as well like Abraham

But that's on Loew.

Mancini says he's aiming winning Euro 2020 with his Italy. I'd laugh, but Italy was usually unpredictable, both ways, so you never know what to expect :coffee:.
BTW Portugal was very very lucky on their way to final play in 2016, then France screwed =D>.

Haven’t been watching Italy so no idea how good they are tbh but Italy are one of those countries that’s hard to write off. England are just another case of overhype, as always.

I believe Italian fans are afraid of Spain only.
There are some aging WC quality names in Italy squad (mostly Chiellini & Bonucci), but they also have very promising youth (i.e Chiesa, Kean, goalkeepers) with sound midfield (Jorginho and Verratti).
IMHO Italy had problems with managers last years (as well as Spain in 2018).
