Half time in Verona where Luca Toni and Mario Gomez are playing against each other. Teams locked at 1-1 with both Gomez and Toni hitting the crossbar.

If I my eyes did not trick me I saw Gomez wearing the capt arm band... There was a big joy and relief in the viola's camp as our old Gomez finally scored.
In the other matches juve was really lucky to win the derby vs Torino... And Roma v Inter at least was entertaining

Gomez has always thrived on confidence. Handing him the captain's armband was a genius move as it gave him the self-confidence boost he needed. The result: 1 goal, 1 assist.

I am watching Fiorentina v Juve - Gomez is having a quite game but his movement and workrate helping in midfield is not bad (fiorentina are controling the game for now and juve defending with the whole team)
I'd like to point this - Rizzoli (the guy who brings us luck) has two weights and two measures - that prick of evra made 3 fouls and was not booked but two mins after evra's 3rd foul Pizarro fouled in Juve's third and guess what!? He was shown the YC (It was his 1st foul)

What a goal by Kovacic to lead Inter to a 2-2 comeback vs Lazio! I hope I get to see this kid in a Bayern jersey one day, what a player!

Im not basing that statement only on that goal or that one game, the kid is a class player and already a quality midfielder at a tender age. Whether he is playing as a deep or advanced playmaker he can do it all. Sadly I don't get to watch Inter as much as I used to but the kid has skills. He is already a main stay in the Croatian NT and was called up for the WC squad. Im not even gonna post a the cliché youtube highlights to prove my point ;), you should watch a couple Inter games and you will see where I am coming from.

For those who regularly follow Italian football, are the chances of Juve winning the Supercoppa vs Napoli within 90 minutes tonight high (as I think they are)? They have some very good odds.
