If found guilty C.Ronaldo risks some 30years!

Also a Portuguese paper reported that Real had ordered Ronaldo to pay an amount to the alleged rape victim

Real Madrid have sued said paper for alleging they made CR sign the settlement.

Meanwhile, the dispute between CR's lawyers and Der Spiegel has entered the next round.

It has me wondering why they don't simply go ahead and sue Spiegel if they are so certain the documents are forged. They've been threatening since April 2017, but nothing ever followed up. Took RM less than 24 hours to file a complaint against that Portuguese paper.

His lawyers seem to have a big mouth with not much behind it, otherwise they would follow through with their threats and sue Spiegel already. Look at that latest twitter thread; the magazine is practically daring them to sue.

As for Mayorga, her court file claims exemption from arbitration, so there's not going to be an out of court settlement. If Team Ronaldo are found guilty of the charges filed (libel, obstruction of justice...), of course they'll have to pay damages, whether this idea appeals to his lawyers or not.

Supreme Court orders LV attorney disbarred
Thursday, Jan. 10, 2002 | 9:24 a.m.
SUN CAPITAL BUREAU

CARSON CITY -- The Nevada Supreme Court Wednesday ordered Las Vegas attorney Anita Cionni disbarred because of misconduct in handling an estate case in which she took fees before the court approved the disbursement.
The court upheld a recommendation by the Southern Nevada Disciplinary Board of the state Bar, which found Cionni failed to provide an adequate billing statement in support of her claimed fees and took the money prior to a judge's approval.
The disciplinary board said Cionni left the estate case in "disarray."
Cionni did not attend the formal hearing on the complaint, and the disciplinary board said she showed no remorse.
In another case, the court temporarily suspended Las Vegas attorney Leslie M. Stovall from practicing law, pending the outcome of disciplinary proceedings.
Stovall was convicted last year in federal court of filing a false tax return in November last year. He was placed on probation, fined and ordered to make restitution to the government.
In a third case, the court suspended for six months Joe Laub, an attorney who practices in Reno and Lake Tahoe and who advertises heavily on television.
The court supported the Northern Nevada Disciplinary Board, which found Laub failed to make an effort to reduce the medical bills of one of his clients who was injured in an accident; that he allowed his law clerks to negotiate contracts with clients and that he permitted a third party to look through his files, which violated the attorney-client privilege.

AC Milan lost the Milan Debry. Icardi scored in stoppage time. Provided Bayern qualify from Group E I’d like to face Internazionale in the Ro16. Long time since we went to the San Siro and also old scores to settle with Inter.

I think it was a lucky win. Inter were a bit better but a draw was fair. Certainly by that point Milan were better.
