In fact during the 2006 wc celebrations he was seen with an italian flag which included a fascist symbol...
The repercussions : No sanctions cause he is Totti

Buffon is a fascist sympathizer... but not that openly as Di Canio.

Sure he's "fascist" but it doesn't seem as if he's racist or is trying to mess with other people so whatever if he isn't a fan of progressive democracy. And even beyond the fact that he's a fascist, all those old Roman symbols got co-opted by the fascists, they just weren't able to turn all of them backwards like the nazis did with the swastika. I haven't seen the Brits say "oh ****, we've got dukes which is just an English version of Dux so we need to change that shit" yet.
If Sky want to fire him for whatever reason, fine that's their private right I don't care. But the thing that I find funny is the inconsistency. All these people waving Israeli flags, Palestinian flags, gay pride flags at the stadiums, and then god forbid someone else shows something different. And it's generally all this left-wing shit, and yet there's the concerted "we need to kick right wing extremism out of football" movement. Yeah kick someone out if they are being a douche to the people around them, but other than that it would be nice if we could calm our tits.
