It's official, only an announcement to come out.

Yep, so I read in the article. Really great news and I'm happy to see the inventor of false #9 back on scene. 8)

Klaus Toppmöller and Oliver Neuville?

I thought he played everything from striker to AMC, RW, RM? Or not? Whatever, Salihamidžić and Enrique played almost everything. Hierro and Matthäus ain't far from these two, as well. :P

Heh, I rather meant the tiny lone striker Oliver Neuville dropping deep to create space for deep runners and participate in build-up play in 2002.

Serie B is trying out a third - non consequential - card. It has something to do with promoting fair play and is meant to correct or assist referees from what little information I found. Perhaps someone has the time to do a little further reading. The American Express of football (for its color and name) is still sanctioned by FIFA and will be first used in a few hours.

..
Yes I heard that as well, they are to call it the green card... [source]

if you ask me it is a waste of time...

I tend to agree more with the previous proposal that was to introduce an amber card... instead of direct red or a red after two yellows .

I remember years ago, I was playing in a tournament in Finland and in one of the matches, a player slide tackled me and fouled me. I got up and shook hands. Then when the match finished, the referee showed me the green card. Haha. Fun times. :D
