Pep has signed a 2-year contract extension at Man City. On the one hand, I'm not really too surprised, especially assuming they've given him a pay raise. On the other hand, I figured he'd want to see something new or take a break (especially after the continuing CL disappointments).

I'm kinda surprised. From afar it looks like he is completely burnt out and I can hardly see him turning it around. It is also surprising that he voluntarily left two world class clubs with CL and WC winners in Barça and Bayern, but he is sticking so long with the good-but-not-outstanding team he currently has.

Yeah, kinda pissed off he left us just when we looked we might be close to getting that CL trophy again, but then sticks with a City fetting worse and worse.

But even as someone who greatly praises Pep’s time as Bayern coach, I have to say, no problem, it did take a few years, but we got the better deal in the end.

It was a blessing that he left

One might argue yes, but then I wonder: was Kovac leaving an orgasm? Or is there something even bigger than that?

The board did a mistake not to fire him one year before his contract ended after they learned that he was not going to renew.
We could have signed Klopp... thus avoiding both Carlo and Kovac
