I want to think about this derby as one of the most important derbies of all time(if not the most important one) because Liverpool could lose their title chances today.

These substitutions in the first 45 minutes speak in favor of that, though.

Basically he failed this season to look like the one he was in autumn 2017.

Many international journalists, football legends, experts said that his real career starts after 2017/2018 since he must prove to everyone, including himself, that the last season wasn't just a flash, but really an upgrade, one step up in his career.
So far we haven't seen that all and nobody can blame Ramos, Salah's tears, Karius, north wind and low temperatures for his weaker performances this season.

I really liked the first half of the derby where Liverpool had more initiative, looked more determined and dangerous, but ManU stabilized at the half-time and even Alisson had 3-4 serious interventions that saved Liverpool.

All in all, Liverpool failed to win the most important match of the season and now they are under serious pressure while City are getting in advantage no matter how small it is, but in my humble opinion, could be extremely crucial for the last few matchdays.

Salah has 1 goal and 0 assists in 5 games vs PSG/Napoli/Bayern. And 1 goal (Pk) and 1 assist in 8 games vs PL Top6 teams...

He is still a good player, but nowhere near last year's hype.
