Not true. They have a good number of great players. Mhikitaryan, Aubameyang, Özil are close to WC, while Lacazzette, Xhaka, Mustafi and Bellerin are fairly good. They also got themselves a superb chief scout in Mislintat. They could right the ship in the very short term with a few signings and a proper coach.Fénix wrote:That ship called Arsenal sank long time ago, no one can save Arsenal anymore. The owners and A. I agree. So we agree that the problem is basically just Wenger. The Arsenal squad is not structurally so poor that one or two good transfer windows wouldn't make it competitive, if put under the right coach.America USA wrote:PunkCapitalist wrote:Not true. It had been obvious that Arsenal need a proper CDM for two years. Wenger didn’t get Kante to fix that. On top of that he spends £100M+ on Strikers and I’m positive he won't fix that this summer as well. Danilo from Porto would be a good choice but Wenger will instead get an unknown unheard of French LB.
Arsenal need a defensive midfielder and a winger. Mahrez has expressed his intention to join Arsenal in the past but Arsenal being Arsenal won't get him and instead he'll be off to Man City in the summer.
