I guess it kinda happened organically...with Bayern it was the Germany NT that drew me in, but I strongly dislike the England NT, so that's not it. I've always liked the English tenacity on the pitch. I know the level of football can be crap in the premier league, but it's almost always entertaining. So I've always watched English and German football over any Dutch or Spanish. And with watching English football I just gravitated towards Newcastle. Possibly bc of the fans, the location (I'm a Northerner) and the coverage they get in my country (due to the direct ferry connection to the town).

When I visited Newcastle and St James Park I fell in love. I have never seen a stadium in such a good spot. The stadium is like a Cathedral, smack down in the city center. It would be as if the Allianz Arena was right next to Marienplatz. The town just lives and breathes football, and the people are friendly without delusional expectations of their club.

We kinda clicked, I think...

This is what happens when a society pays too much attention criticizing welfare recipients while the rich rob you blind, how can a footballer get so greedy?

I think the spot goes to the 5th place English team but I'm not 100%...

I'm basing this off from my knowledge that if Man U finish 5th and win the EL then there will be 5 English teams in the UCL so I'm assuming in your scenario the same would happen....

If Manure and Shitty qualify for the CL, they're gonna spend like 300M each in the next window. Chelsea will spend big too but less than them...
