I don't understand.
They still had a very decent chance to get through against Sevilla, and could still easily end up somewhere around the middle of the table in EPL. Their team isn't exactly "competing for the title every year"-level...

It's not that it's ungrateful...I just don't get it. Are they really expecting a new manager to do that much better?

It was probably the right thing to do... the players didn't want him anymore, something like what happened to LvG in his 2nd year here...

I'd expect this as well...other explanations don't really make sense. Also sometimes just the change itself helps...
Poor Ranieri, had they finished midtable last season, he'd still have his job :P

Mancini refused Leicester offer... (my guess is that he refused out of solidarity)
Hidding (it is always him) or De Boer are the front runners

I think that Mancini refused it because he sees it as a shitty opportunity... more than anything that has to do with solidarity.

Not only this, but if they had gotten the exact same results last year instead (i.e. never won the title), he might not even have been sacked.

Those managing the club deluded themselves after last season. Reaching the last 16 of the CL should already have been remarkable enough.

The owner is an idiot ...
That is what you get if you leave the club in the hands of foreigners...

Sorry ... but I was not sure what you meant.
Is there a big Co or a wealthy businessman in the area who can maybe take over? Maybe a construction Co.

No there isn't really. I mean there are a few big businesses around but they don't seem to be interested in owning a football club. It's been a big problem for us since the local Needler family sold the club in the 90s. Our best owner since that period was Adam Pearson, who saved the club from extinction in 2001 . Although he was Leeds born and bred he knew how to run a sports club (he still owns the rugby club who share our stadium, but sold the football club in 2008). Apart from him the rest have been either clueless (the Allams) or nasty, greedy men who ran the club for their own gain (Lloyd, Duffen)
