I don't feel like looking it up but I bet they signed way more players (for way more ridiculous fees) from the EPL than we did from the Bundesliga

Yes they did, and considering they "have competition" and we supposedly don't, only they signed players from their rivals, we play in a league of our own no?

He's also missing a crucial point. Players from Dortmund who don't want to leave the country would consider Bayern. Players from Arsenal, Tottenham and the clubs he mentioned would not simply because of ambition. No one wants to move to a worse team. I'm sure Chelsea could sign them easier (since Mourinho left)
