Leicester can, should theyw in their last two games, end up on 83 points. It wouldn't have won them the title last season, it would've put them behind Liverpool before that. In fact only back in 2010-11 did United win with 80 points. It's a magnificent achievement for a club that has barely used any squad rotation, but damn does it show how poor English football has performed this season in general.

I know you were. Even as a proud Yorkshire man I don't take it that seriously! Now if they beat us at cricket that's another matter... :P

Arsene Wenger and Liverpool are the biggest losers. :P

Leicester - 1 Premier League title

Liverpool - 0 Premier League titles

2 Schmeichels won the Premier League while Liverpool FC none.

Yeah, I also had the impression that he's in the early 20s or so given that he suddenly came to scene. Still, what a way to present yourself to the world.

He used to play in the 3rd tier with Notts C. However he played for ManC as well...

By the way I remember Blackburn Rovers in 1995 winning it ... with Alan Shearer being Lei's Vardy.

Here are other surprising country league winners I can think of:
Kaiserslautern - Germany 1997-98
Atletico Madrid - Spain 2013-14
Montpellier - France 2011-12
Hellas Verona - Italy 1984-85 (maybe biggest surprise)
Nottingham Forest - England 1977-78
Zoria Voroshilovgrad (Lugansk today) - USSR, 1972
Bursaspor - Turkey, 2009-2010
Wolfsburg - Germany 2008-2009
Boavista - Portugal, 2000 or 2001
AE Larissa - Greece, 1987 -88
Deportivo La Coruna, Spain 1999-2000
Lens - France, ~90's
