Arsenal - City tomorrow for the Community Shield. Although it's nothing but a glorified friendly and City will be without many of their starters I'm still buzzing! Cannot wait for the start of the season.

I found out yesterday that one of the main banks that loans most of the money to Manchester City is headquartered in Malta. A friend of mine's father is very high up in the hierarchy of this company and I was told that (unsurprisingly) City's debt is astronomical. Probably one of the reasons they have been quiet so far. At some point even the filthy rich begin to worry about debt.

Community Shield

Arsenal 1-0 City in the 20th minute

Cazorla with a classy goal

Arsenal are far better and play good football (as they always do at the beginning of every season)

Arsenal just wanted it more, City didn't seem up for it at all. Nonetheless, was a good performance and will give the team confidence going in to the new season. Very happy they won.

Ramsey is absolute class, what a player!

Ramsey indeed quite a player, just great to see any player show determination to come back from what Ramsey came from. Just goes to show that fans who don't have a tenth of the talent the professionals do should be more careful before they call their own players useless. Luckily guys like Ramsey and Robben just get driven by it.
