True, but ofcourse everyone praises him for his subs at the WC ( though the one's who came in and scored, were assisted by Robben :P )

And look where those subs got him against Argentina.

Yesterday I thought about it. Maybe it's his secret plan, make these comments - take pressure of the players, everybody's talking about Mourinho, not the players not so good performance.

He has always done that. Use the media to his advantage. It was mentioned in Balague's book on Pep why Barca didn't hire him. They were baffled that he has two faces and how he manipulates the media.

Mwoah i don't really talk a lot about him or think about him, i know the media does. But he is just an idiot coach in a shitty team. Chelsea Always played like shit, even though they won. You know what they say, kharma's a bitch and it will slap him hard in his face one day.

Everything is hinting at Vidal's move away from Juve, most likely to Manchester Utd as Italian media reports. Rumored price, 40M.

This idea is garbage. UEFA have their own version of Youth CL don't they?

Howard Webb has retired! THE CL IS OURS! ;)

Spoiler: show

2008/09 Champions League:
- Bayern lost the 1st leg 4-0 away against Barcelona. Referee was Howard Webb.

2009/10 Champions League:
- Bayern lost 2-0 at home in the group stage against Bordeaux. Referee was Pedro Proenca
- Bayern drew 0-0 at home in the group stage against Juventus amidst a number of controversial referee decisions in Juve's fault. Referee was Howard Webb.
- Bayern lost 2-0 in the final against Inter with a clear handball penalty not awarded to Bayern. Referee was Howard Webb.

2010/11 Champions League:
- Bayern lost 3-2 at home in the second leg against Inter, getting eliminated on away goals rule. Referee was Pedro Proenca.

2011/12 Champions League:
- Bayern lost the final at home against Chelsea. Referee was Pedro Proenca.

------
Pedro Proenca refereed Bayern 3 times. All 3 matches at the Allianz Arena. Each time, Bayern was the dominant team and deserved to win, but were very unlucky.

The last 4 times Bayern were eliminated, the referees were either Pedro Proenca or Howard Webb!

I hope to hear the same about Pedro Proenca soon. He was awarding free kicks to RM until they score and they scored.

Uh-oh  Webb retires from refereeing to teach others how to ref the Webb way. [-X

According to a statement released on Wednesday afternoon, Webb, 43, will be responsible for overseeing the technical direction and standards that govern the on-field performance of match officials. He will also “take a public-facing role, informing and educating on refereeing matters” and report to the PGMOL general manager Mike Riley. [source]
