What a close game this is, Fabianski has saved Arsenal this match so far...

Arsenal played without Szczesny, Sagna, Gibbs, Wilshere, Cazorla and Giroud so they should be much stronger against you. I hope this Wednesday match is going to be a great joy to watch.

Would be a good game if Giroud does not start.

Didn't watch the match, judging by the comments though from http://espnfc.com/blog/_/name/thematch/id/1874?cc=3436 - it was a match that could have gone either way. Liverpool missed a lot of opportunity it seems. Although you would expect Arsenal to save themselves blushes after that 5-1 trashing and upped their perfromance.

Either way, I'm actually glad that Arsenal won this FA Cup match (what round is it now?) and proceed to have a busier schedule  - and at least we won't be underestimating them and drop into complacency mode like last time. The Freiburg's game was a little sleepy, with luck favoring our side... But I will expect the rested regulars to come full blazing against the Gooners.

I saw the second half and Liverpool was completely on top. But Arsenal did have a lot of rotation, so fair's fair, I guess.

LFC lost because they couldn't convert their chances. Arsenal did theirs.
Sturridge was disappointing. I still think Suarez should lead the line. He hasn't scored in 4 games, is just clearing up space for others and others can't convert as good as he can. Just for the sake of game-time, Rodgers' playing both of them. He should rotate them, at least in next season. He probably can't/won't now.

A proper tridente of Suarez, Sturridge, Sterling/Coutinho would be best for ol' 'pool, I think. Or maybe I've been playing too much Football Manager. :P

I am starting to play closer attention to Coutinho's playmaker abilities. He ain't half bad, is he? This is a growing side I'm telling you.

He was even better last season. Those through balls just find Suarez and Sturridge miraculously. I think Liverpool is yet to really settle on their formation. I'm attributing it to the lack of personnel choices. The 3 at the back is shaky and another CM to rotate Gerrard and Henderson. If they can stabilize the back, they can give the top teams a run for their money. (Maybe next season. )

He has been very good this year. And not only him, it's impressive how most of Liverpool's squad have improved since last season. Massive credit to Rodgers for that.

Arsenal playing some lovely football against Sunderland (3:0 at HT). The 3rd was a magnificent team-goal.

Poor Sunderland, Arse look mad! :D
