I think Birkirkara need to be very wary of this foreign investor with such big/unrealistic targets. Sliema and Valletta have both been similarly taken in in recent years.

Hahaha, I've just seen a Dnevnik.hr front page that Ronaldinho might return to active football.

Jesus, how is that possible few hours later. It must be a sign for me!!!! :o :o

Still, I can just say: "WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!!!" Ronaldinho moving to Malta and playing football. Why not join Croatia and Dinamo Zagreb... hahaha.

He is coming but not to play football...
His brother just confirmed...it is on tom

Edit.
Ooops our tech director is contradicting R10 's bro... The BKR official is claiming that de Assis is no longer representing the ex player... but a company is doing so...

In the meantime there are official shirts being printed with his name already...

This is pure summer madness

The fact that they're printing shirts with his name already screams "SCAM!" to me.

Should I say that Hajduk reached a total bottom? Mind you to confirm my statement Maltese colleagues because I said long time ago that in Croatia Hajduk has nothing but Don Quijote fight against windmills.

Their fans only know to react violently against everything, but the clear fact that this club is in total mess for the last 15 years is incredible. I've become a teenager, an adult, a young man and a real man, they haven't won the Croatian championship after 2004/2005.

Congratulations to Maltese club! =D>

btw. If NK Osijek were 4th last season and played against Gzira, I would have definitely traveled to Malta with my ultras fan group Kohorta. :D

Is it a possibility that they sold the math ?
Just asking....
This Maltese club came from nowhere and after three three seasons they are one of the richest clubs on the island
P.S their name means Island in Maltese

Their current coach (signed this yr from another club) was my team's coach when we defeated West Ham in the same competition!
He is Giovanni Tedesco an ex Serie A Pro

They only won one honour (Maltese FA Trophy) in 1971 vs my team after TWO replays!

What is the media in Cro saying about this?

Situation is/was red-hot last night. Hajduk fans invaded the pitch after the full-time whistle to attack their own players and they tried to invade the VIP stands. After the match they waited in front of the stadium for the board members.

It's a shocking defeat after s routine 0-2 win last week in Malta where everything looked like it was over and where Hajduk have to play last night to confirm their qualification for the next round.

The stunning qualification at the expense of the Croatian heavyweights has also boosted the Maroons' bank account.

Having received €240,000 for their participation in the first qualifying round, they will now receive an additional €260,000 for being one of the clubs in the second round. Should Gżira eliminate their upcoming rivals Ventspils and move into the third round, they will make a further €280,000 in UEFA prize money.

The financial windfall still pales in comparison to Valletta FC's, however. Valletta, who advanced to the second qualifying round of the Champions League, have collected a staggering €660,000 so far after receiving €280,000 for their participation in the first round and an additional €380,000 for being one of the teams who will play in the second round.

Moreover, UEFA provides an additional €260,000 to the champions of their member associations who fail to make it to the group stages of one of its club competitions.

:verysurprised: :problem:
