#4 William Saliba [source]

no connections with Malta ...

He hails from the middle east.

this confirms how old the Saliba surname is.

They needed a study for this?
Edit: read most of it. I find it disturbing that 8 percent of football fans (not general population) in Malta are not aware that Malta has a national team.

"The study also sheds light on the level of following for the national teams with 92% of the football fans taking part in this research claiming to be aware of the men’s national team while 59% are interested in its progress."

If they were indeed, they can throw those stats in the bin, because they count for nothing. For example, I don't believe that 1% of the population doesn't know about the existence of the World Cup. Not follow it OK, but it's virtually impossible not to know about it. For it to have been rounded to 1% it means that at least 0.5% said they don't know about it. That's 1 in 200. I don't believe it.

They had 1,008 respondents. 6 to 15 people must have answered that they never heard of a World Cup.

Ridiculous decision in favour of Gzira with that penalty. Not a surprise after that ridiculous half time red card for Ryan Fenech in our game against them. Feels to me they want everyone's favourite underdog to keep challenging it for the title until the end this time.

I am still licking my wounds and cursing that little bitch called Amadou Samb...

Many thought that the penalty was a dive but tbh I missed the dive by a split of a second... I only saw the tackle.

After some fav decisions last wk vs Flo I was expecting this. The ref was totally biased towards Gzira.

I have my doubts over their Pres. For me he might well be one of those... if you know what I mean...

That piece of shit Samb kept provoking , and his simulations were so pathetic

"Samb’s impressive display was marred"

Marred by his constant provocations and simulations...

That was my comment...
In the inverted comas, I quoted part of their report.
