I'd rather lose 3 key players to injury during the friendly than not play it at all. I think our CL chances would be higher.

I mean, players can also get injured on trainings or during the Champions League matches (just like in 2018 when we lost Boateng and Robben in just 35 minutes vs Real Madrid)

Not being match fit increases the risk of injury when you play competitive matches as well.

I watched the final yesterday between PSG and Lyon.

PSG won on penalties but the match was horrible. Only Verrati and Keylor Navas played at a good level. Everyone else was just bad. I don't think PSG can challenge for the CL trophy without Mbappe and on their current form. Even Neymar and Icardi were average

This was quite a prescient comment. PSG last night were dangerous in glimpses, but I never felt threatened. Mbappe and Neymar were totally out of joint attacking, and we bossed the middle of the park. If Navas wasn't on as good form, I think we could have scored a couple more.

Quite an important one from Lewandowski in the first half. I felt at that point, we get the goal, we were going to dominate.

If Neuer wasn't as good as he was from point-blank shots, we could easily loose last night. Highly deserved MoM.

Arsenal 's Will Saliba.

I am sure that we had discussed this already.

But I have either forgot or we missed it during the discussion.

He is of Cameroonian descent.

So strange ... Saliba is a Christian Surname from the middle East (the very first area to which Christianity was exported and accepted with devotion)... it is very common in Lebanon and Syria and in Malta(it is one of the oldest surnames in Malta)

How did he end up in Cameroon?

Saliba comes from the Arabic word for Cross Salib

Is it possible that it's his mother who is Cameroonian?
