Monaco signs Hulk for € 65m according to the Mirror...announcement after the Confed-Cup.

I laughed at St. Petersburg for wasting so much money on this one-trick wonder but now I've got a lack of words for Monaco...

This is just ridiculous.

He excelled at the Olympics (arguably the best man on the pitch) and I wouldn't go as far as calling him a one-trick pony, but yes, I can't really argue with the ridiculousness of paying EUR35 million for him. Wait, did you say EUR65?

Seems like Zenit plan on getting screwed more than once by PSG.....
@TransferNewsCen: Le10Sport also report that PSG's interest in Axel Witsel is serious but no offer has been made. -W.

Apperently PSG and Napoli have agreed a fee to move Cavani to PSG.....
Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini claims Serie A rivals Napoli have struck a deal with Paris Saint-Germain over star striker Edinson Cavani.

PSG have emerged as favourites to sign Edinson Cavani
Cavani has been linked with a number of Europe’s biggest clubs recently, including Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester City, but in an interview with Radio Radio, Zamparini has revealed the terms of a transfer with PSG.

"I have texted [Napoli president Aurelio] De Laurentiis to congratulate him on doing even better than I did [while dealing with PSG].

"He has outdone the €43 million (£37 million) that we got for Javier Pastore when we sold him to PSG," Zamparini told Radio Radio.

"De Laurentiis had to make this deal. He did well to say that he wanted a transfer fee like this.

"Cavani is a unique player. He couldn't stay at Napoli because he has to think about his career and PSG are offering him €8 million (£6.9 million) per year."

The comments follow a report in Le Parisien stating the transfer could be officially announced on Tuesday.

Cavani played alongside Pastore at Palermo before moving to Napoli in 2010 in a deal reportedly worth €17 million.

Zlatan and Cavani on the same team? That's stupid.

Zlatan is rumored to follow Ancelotti to Real Madrid.

That would be a very good move by Real if it happens. It is only left to see how Zlatan can fit into a Ronaldo-based squad.

I think he is also being linked with a move back to Milan.

I wonder whether Monaco can live up to expectations. If they do the Ligue 1 is going to be a very interesting league.
