At that age, only Messi is better than Dembélé. Mbappe-Lotin is far below, although that's not to say he's bad at all.

Dembélé was a phenomenon in France for, let's say 3 months. But Mbappé looks more promising than all the up and coming french talents, for the media and the fans alike.

I think about Dembelé former club curse.

Every time somebody in Rennes board or their fans talk about one of their talent homeground, he makes a flop one day :
Briand "the new Henry"
M'vila "the new Makelele"
Gourcuff "the new Zidane"
Dembelé "better than Cristiano Ronaldo at the same age" according to Silvestre who play in Manchester Utd.

They only one who had a great career is Wiltord, but he wasn't announce as a "future amazing star".

While when Monaco fans and their board talk a lot about one of their homeground :
Henry
Amoros
Trezeguet
Thuram
Ferreira-Carrasco for a moment
Mbappe

I'd still say Dembélé's better and has a higher ceiling. Already Dortmund's best offensive player and one of the best dribblers in the world right now.

For sure Dembelé seems better right now.
