What a story. Luzenac, a club from a small town with 650 residents have gained promption to Ligue 2 but are denied entrance by the FFF on account of them being too small.

"Luzenac insist that they have a sound budget for the season ahead and that their books are perfectly balanced – “we are not even one euro in arrears,” said Barthez – and that they are being punished not for anything that they have done but rather for what the league suspects they will not be able to continue doing; in other words, not for any mismanagement, just for being small."

Didnt a similar case happen in Spain but I think it was cause the stadium was too small perhaps...

Dunno but it's not the first time FFF denies clubs entry for promotion. The more renowned teams like Lens won their appeal but there's a smaller team that lost and has now been disbanded.

I know what you mean with this post, but this stuff pisses me off completely, just because some bored oil dude wants to have something to play with and throws with money, they can buy everything. Remember where PSG was 3 years ago and all those years before.. I can't take teams like this seriously, same goes for RM, Man City, Chelsea etc. It's a shame and disgrace for the sport.

While I agree with the general message, at least PSG make sensible transfers, unlike all other money clubs. They are my favourite money club.

Sensible? 50 for David Luiz and bidding 75 to 80 for Di Maria if thats true? And that while they are under the eye of the UEFA and FFP? Where is the FAIR part in this whole damn business? FFP is a big joke. Here in the Netherlands, clubs like BV Veendam, AGOVV Apeldoorn and some others had to disband because they had 40000 to 50000 euro's debt.. And those big clubs, they just dont dare to hurt them big time, because then Chelsea, Man City, PSG, RM, Barca, Man U etc all wouldnt be competing in the CL and probably in their league.

By sensible I mean players that actually make sense. They are trying to build a team and not just throw many at every big name out there.

And ofcourse PSG wins the French Supercup, i am 100% sure that if they didn't have Ibrahimovic, that PSG would be just as shitty as the last 15 years.. Because again, he was the one who scored..

Sad to see that St Ettienne is first.. Not in a negative light ofcourse, i just had to think back when Aubameyang was still playing there couple of seasons back, they had a really good team, but that's were PSG came into play...

I always thought that it was either Marseille or Lyon the French rekordmeister! :o
Lyon won 4 - 5 titles in a row if I am not mistaken
