It is the time for Atletico to start a new chapter without Simeone...

In autumn this year it's his 10th anniversary at Atlético, it's really a great era but it's time for a new start with a new philosophy.

There's no old recognizable energy, passion and fight in the team when you watch the match as it was the case between 2011-2017.

Diego Simeone's is going to be forever there weotten with golden letters what the club achieved and built under him.

I think Simeone is the best coach possible for Atletico. In fact they are still top of the table in La Liga, so this could still be a good season for them.

But still ten seasons is way too much...

Haha imagine they hire Xabi Alonso... what a diff style and approach...

Don't laugh but I think Niko Kovac will be a good match for them.

Also Simone Inzaghi... he deserves a bigger tm.

Or Espirito Santo of Wolves

Not laughing... Bar the language maybe... Kovac is an absolute parking the bus coach with no other idea of this game... He always drives the Fiat against the sports car... 100% Simeone‘s approach

Why is 10 years too much? As long as he is doing a good job he should stay

I wish we could stick to the same coach for the next 10 years :)

So we just had the Copa del Rey final from 19/20 and the score was Athletic Club 0-1 Real Sociedad

In a couple of weeks we will have this season's Copa del Rey final between Athletic Club and Barcelona

The reason why the 19/20 final was played this year is that both Athletic and Real Sociedad are two very traditional Basque clubs and agreed to postpone the final for a year in order to be able to bring their own fans to the stadium even if that meant missing out on a EL spot.

The final was very special for them and they wanted their football fans to enjoy such a historic derby live in the stadium =D>

Unfortunately for them they could not play in front of their fans this year either

What a goal by Benzema, Jesus Christ. Real are looking like their old selves in the last couple of weeks.

R. Madrid won 2 derbies in the same season for the first time after 2007/2008 and also has 3 straight wins for the first time after 1978. :D

I saw the game as I said yest they were super lucky bastards... first half was all Real with Vini jr on fire and with a lucky Kroos goal.
However the second half Barca deserved more than one goal, imo they even deserved to win the game...
Especially with that last shot of the game which hit the bar
