That's how I see Kimmich one day in our midfield when we sign 3 new defenders, 2 new classic DMs and one new creative AM, Sané and another top winger. :)

I guess you're the optimist here.. :P

I just don't see how Kimmich can be on his level. The fact that we're talking about how maybe, Kimmich can be like him is showing it. If only Kimmich was a lot faster, with better defensive awareness and better technique. I think he has the vision for pass and the good shot tho.., it's just the fact that Federico is so complete at the age of 21, and the fact that he's playing under Zidane - the best in the business in the last years..

Apparently yest Barca made some 1000 passes like in the times of Guardiola, and then they had to sweat blood and to have an opponent sent off before they found the net!

They just need a turbo machine like Liverpool, Heynckes' Bayern or Klopp's 2012 BVB on the other side to eat them alive and that's it. Last season they were prepared and served as minced meat at Anfield. They need to start running far more and less passing, work as a team/collective and stop depend on Messi all the time.

I got the impression in Spanish and Croatian media that Messi is very tired of being the only guy there who'll do everything, solve everything, finish everything, create everything... He also got older and knows the end is approaching him in the next 2-5 years and perhaps he should think about his end, returning home to Rosario and so on.

Probably the saddest story in modern football. They were one of the best teams, played the best football in Europe, better than Madrid and Barcelona at some point of time, but no own kids in Galicia, no big money  no glory. The same goes for their neighbors Celta Vigo.

Everyone liked them here in Croatia in late 90's and first half of 2000's. Their great strikers, maestro Valerón, Scaloni, Manuel Pablo, Djalminha... Some wonderful, shiny days full of success, soon it'll be 20 years far away.

I can still remember that miracle vs Milan in 2004!
p.s after eliminating us in the groups.

That was the season 2002/2003 in the group stage. That's why Roy Makaay joined us in 2003/2004. :)

Despite the tight scoreline, the win over Granada was hailed as a success, a return to the passing style and attacking philosophy of Barcelona that had been lost under Ernesto Valverde.

Their 83 per cent possession was the highest in La Liga since Pep Guardiola's side in 2011 but for all the dominance of the ball, there was a lack of cutting edge, a problem that was again evident against Ibiza.

They restricted their star-studded opponents to one shot in the first half, Barcelona's lowest in any game they have played this season.

A very lucky win...

There goes to the defunct philosophy of the possession game.

Haha        Dominance!!!

I still feel sorry for not totally destroying them and their crap of football in 2013 at Camp Nou with 5-6 goals in their net and we stopped at 7UP instead of putting 10-11 goals in the 2 semifinal legs.
