Bale can score from anywhere. Right side, left side, in the box, outside, headers, free kicks ... He's truly amazing =P~

Do you think that his second goal should have been disallowed?
I saw a foul by Modric(?) in the buildup

I don't think it was a foul to be honest.

In the same way that I don't consider this to be a penalty at all. Very close call nonetheless

How stupid can you be to sack a coach who won Copa del Rey last season against Barcelona thereby winning you first trophy in the last 11 years and stabilizing a club in the last 2 years, nevertheless qualifying it for the CL 2 times in row???

That's exactly what Valencia CF owner Peter Lim did 2 days ago by sacking Marcelino Garcia Toral and appointing Albert Celades instead of the Asturian coach.

Valencia fans are completely pissed off. Every time when some moron of a president does something similar with a successful coach, he can only pray that everything stays as it was or else new round of decline is about to happen.

Big, biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig mistake by Peter Lim to sack Marcelino. [-X [-X [-X [-X

Real Madrid weren't owned by a foreign individual when they fired Heynckes upon winning the CL.

Jupp Heynckes' influence and achievements on football and in football clubs such as Real Madrid and Bayern are really great. :) Man... He was so underrated by everyone in the 90's and 2000's... Whenever you needed something big or a turning point at a club, the German coach did it.

José Mourinho used to be that guy and even more successful in all leagues, but the Portuguese has become a veeeeeeery expensive disappointment to be hired as a coach/manager nowadays. :D

Foreign owners are very good as long as they understand football history, business and the game in general how it works, both in sports and financial way. If you enter football ONLY and primarily for the sake of making personal profit, then nobody normal should allow you to buy a big club, even those traditional, standard 1st division clubs that aren't nearly as successful as big domestic clubs.

I just read that James had another outstanding performance with Real Madrid

Sportswise it's an idiotic decision. But you need to know a little bit more of the story

Marcelino has been publicly criticising Lim's decisions pretty much all the time. Lim just had enough of him.

Just think that you are doing your job well but keep messing around and talking sh!t to your boss. In the end you will get fired. I would have fired him too.

Lim's club management really is questionable and fans aren't happy with him, but he is the owner and he sacked him.

Now he has appointed Albert Celades? Do you expect him to be a very good choice for Valencia?

p.s. Last night Valencia lost 5-2 at Camp Nou.

No, I don't

But I would not expect to last long at my job if I kept busting my boss's balls on a regular basis

The thing is, if you or me did that, and got fired, we wouldn't enjoying sitting on our sofa at home while earning millions from the pending contract.
