Guys like Guedes and Renato are underestimated in top sides like PSG, Bayern, Real, City, etc. and have no chance to prove themselves anymore as Cristiano, Nani, Messi and many other talents had proved themselves 15-20 years ago when they were once young. Priorities and state of mind have completely changed.

In traditional top clubs such as Valencia and Dortmund they could easily reach one day a top level and become world-class players, but as we know from the last 10-15 years, that jeopardizes the domination of the top 12 European elite clubs in both domestic and continental competitions.
On the other side, football players don't give a damn thing about those clubs when their only interest is to earn more(now and immediately as much as possible), have a celebrity status and reach one of the top 6 European sides to have it in a CV. :roll:

p.s. Almost all today's Portuguese players, or at least top talents and the current biggest names in Portugal, are in control of Jorge Mendes. They are also the ones who degrade this sport along with national FAs, Uefa and Fifa.

Guedes was amazing last year, but this season he's gone through difficult moments.

Seems like he is playing good football again lately

Atletico are playing with an admirable courage.... down to ten men early in the first half and still giving problems to Barca...

How can one not admire this club?

8 titles in the last 11 years, 10 titles in the last 14 years.

In a period of last 15 years, Real Madrid won only 4 titles, Atletico 1 title(2013/2014) and Valencia 1 title(2003/2004).

Bale- "I've got three years contract left. If they want me to go they'll have to pay me €17m a year. Otherwise I'll stay. Doesn't matter if I don't play, I'll just play golf".
