Don't like him as a coach, not one bit...
However he inherited a problematic team and turn it to a machine while he didn't build it neither got transfer injections... now he has the chance to re-build and we can have a clear look about his style and tactics because at his spell at RM who made him one of the most successful coaches ever his philosophy on the pitch was unwatchable.

He played as a chess Grandmaster on F.Perez winning a LaLiga title, three-peat CL, got the electrified dressing room of RM under his command, left because obviously he understood that this squad is done emotionally after the tree-peat and with CR7 gone sportingly as well and now got the President Florentino begging for him to come back obviously with his own rules = supervising the re-build & squad planning something extremely rare for a Real Madrid coach.

Hats off monsieur Zinedine !

James is certainly good news, but if that comes with a cost of Real winning the CL again until 2022, well... :?
Kovac OUT!!!

99'9% sure that Sergio (Cunt) Ramos is the one who asked for Zizou's return and not that of Jose M

I bet on this:

In: De Ligt, Eriksen, Lo Celso, Hazard, Rodrygo, Jovic.

Out: Lucas V, Bale, Kroos, Nacho, Vallejo, Kovacic.

I'm sure he will cut the dead weight.

I predict a sales season at Real Madrid...James will now stay 100%.

Honestly I would take Kroos back for a fair price

We have Thiago ...

And

I really don't want to see his ass with us anymore....

@isiah... Apparently Gundogan is far from reaching an agreement for a contract extension so Kroos to City is not something to scrap

Imo Real front 3 for the next year gonna be
Hazard-Icardi/Kane-Neymar

Who are they going to get to replace Modric and Kroos?
Who instead of Marcelo?

Oh wait Kante is also on his way from Chelsea
But PSG looks like the favorite landing for his plane
But with Madrid you never know.

It's easy but Real after 5years where they didn't touch the starting XI will bringh huge changes.

Bale,Isco,Modric,Kroos,Marcelo,Benzema,Ramos might all be on their way out of Real for a reason or another

No way, Ramos will stay at Real and so will Marcelo and Isco

I read a few weeks ago that Kanté does not want to join PSG but only Barcelona, Real or Bayern.

I'm actually interested to see how that pans out this time around. Obviously Zidane's results speak for themselves, but I've talked with some Madrid supporters who are truthfully not too excited about his return - they're of the mind that having Ronaldo in his peak form and some of the other world's-best players in the starting XI - along with a bit of luck in crucial moments - might have masked some areas where Zidane lacked tactically. But that's their words, not mine.

For ZZ....I have to ask why you'd return. They must be paying him HUGE money, because let's be real - the odds of improving on your previous tenure are slim-to-none. I.e....it would seem his record at Madrid can really only go down from here. So he must be getting an insane payday and I would also think next-to-full control over transfers, too.

On the plus side it does probably mean James is here for sure, it seemed to me like if he was leaving it was Madrid or nothing (and Madrid rumors notwithstanding, he's seemed a bit happier here in recent weeks and even Kovac seems more pleased with him, whether forced or not... ;) )

But then I think...probably makes Hazard to Madrid more likely. And if Chelsea sell Hazard AND have a ban incoming, they'll want to hold on extra tight to CHO. Hopefully the knock-on doesn't harm us there. Still it's an interesting situation. Everyone seems to think that Madrid will spend huge sums of money this summer, and they very well may, but I don't know. Perez for the past few seasons has put a lot more emphasis on younger talents ahead of Galacticos and it had seemed like that was the direction he intended to keep going, so a big "Galacticos III" summer would signal kinda abandoning that philosophy.
But, TBH, Zidane or no Zidane, I think they were probably due for a big spending summer sooner than later. Without Ronaldo it became glaringly obvious that the team has a lot of holes - Marcelo is past his best, Ramos is declining, Kroos truthfully looks to be pointing downwards too, Benzema, Bale has largely been deemed a failure, Asensio and Vazquez are not living up to the hype, Madridistas are turning on Casemiro, Courtois is not convincing, and many of the youth have not been all that impressive. Of course it's Madrid and there are still some bright spots - and maybe Zidane will squeeze some extra out of those players - but IMO that squad seems to be fast approaching 'critical mass' where it's going to need a big overhaul sooner than later.

Anyways, interesting to see how it all plays out.
