Was the penalty a valid one?

I didn't watch the game, do you guys think the referee favoured Real? There seemed to be many controversial decisions

I don't think so.. The fans just cannot accept that they are still better than 90% of the teams without Cristiano. They were the better team, and with or without the referees they still would have won the game.

Atletico need to improve their football style. They do have quality, but Simeone is trying something that obviously doesn't work anymore except in the K.O. stages of the CL and in the EL where they can win the silverware.
He has been buying all kinds of strikers for the last 4 years in hope to get what he wants, but it's obvious that just by signing new strikers cannot solve all problems they have and make them Spanish champions again.

He knows how to defend his own goal from opponents in most of the games, but last night he again conceded 3 goals against the biggest rival Real without Cristiano, Real in pretty worse condition than in the previous 5 years while on the other side he can't easily manage to score 3-4 goals per match.

For something more than just 3rd place in La Liga and CL quarter- or seminfinal he must have a game plan at Atletico how to play football, ie attack, not just defend.

If it were Bayern though it would ONLY be the ref... Even if they were greatly better for 220 mins

From what I saw and gathered, only one decision was really questionable, the rest were rick solid... And the equalizer was given in favor of AM...

It only takes one bad refereeing decision to dramatically change a match. Take Germany vs England in 2010 as an example.

Surely there are other example of a refereeing decision actually changing a game than that. All that did was give the English fans another excuse for exiting a world cup and another misguided reason to dislike the most powerful country in Europe

I would be on board with Hertha, for example... Should’ve been a penalty...

We defended like idiots after that which is inexcusable, but still wouldn’t have happened with a penalty...
Outcome would’ve been the same, maybe bar ET...
I think refereeing decisions DO have an outcome on a match, but not when a team is as inferior as Ancelotti's Bayern was...

Basically everything... Maybe you should read something else than Nazi-propaganda for a change - or at least not dismiss everything else as lies...

Or were you talking soccer? I‘d agree then...
