Messi is the greatest footballer of all time. Most effective dribbler in the history of this sport, excellent goalscorer and a brilliant passer.
He's turning 30 this year. I will be very sad when he stops playing on this level. I will be even more sad when he retires. It's a great privilege watching him play football.

The way he's already two steps ahead while defenders are still tackling where Messi wanted them to think he would be... Simply amazing. He's got the style and technique that every attacker wishes they had.

I hate to idolize players...
But what makes him the best is that he rarely acts as a cunt or cry foul all the time as that other one who wears white

According to AS, Joachim Löw is earmarked to replace Zinedine Zidane should Real Madrid end up trophyless this season.

How yes no... :D We saw 19 years ago what they did to Heynckes after he brought them CL back after 3 decades and the story in the last decade about Ottmar Hitzfeld who was linked with Real in three occasions between 2004-2006. :) They are afraid of Germans because they always prove that they're right, just like B. Schuster who was in 2008 when he said that he can't beat Barcelona and he got fired before the derby.

Have to admit the depth in that Real Madrid squad is outstanding! Even without Bale, Benzema and Ronaldo they look lethal, the same cannot be said about Barcelona who look lackluster without their front three trio of Messi, Neymar and Suarez.

According to Sport, all signs appear to point to Philippe Coutinho becoming a Barcelona player, with the Liverpool attacker keen to join the Catalan club, who also want him. And the potential move has got the seal of approval from the dressing room too, with the players keen to work alongside the Brazilian.
Meanwhile, Rafinha is considering leaving Barcelona. The midfielder is worried he may lose his importance in the team after Luis Enrique's departure and wants to be playing regularly before the 2018 World Cup.
Barcelona are also considering selling Andre Gomes after a disappointing first season at the Camp Nou. He is a Juventus transfer target and unnamed clubs from the Premier League are also believed to be interested.
