I think FIFA just forgot that football is played outside of Spain. [-X

Ballon d'or screwed itself when it joined forces with FIFA. I used to respect it, but now it's all Blatter #-o

That suit was what Ronaldo was smiling at, not Messi lifting the trophy

As much as I love the Bundesliga, the hype around La Liga is plausable. Considering the success of the Spanish NT in recent years and that La Liga has both Messi and CR7, it's easy to see why FIFA and others are perhaps over-hyping that league.

For me, outside of El Clasico, I don't think La Liga offers all that much entertainment. I'd much rather watch the BL or even the EPL, where more international players are integrated into the teams.

That's a nice fixture right there. Although Valencia has been falling off-form recently, but they're still dangerous when it comes to KO competitions.

Ronaldo scored a great 1st goal. Though, it looks like there was another ball on the field at the time of the play. I don't know if the goal should have stood or not.
