GOod move for PSG sacking that sack of wine Blanc... The team is too talented not to be a top3 European team

Top 4 ;)

Bayern is not fit to be a top 5 team man. Our squad sucks. Maybe, if we're lucky, we might deserve to be in the top 15, but no higher than 8th. [Facepalm].

Real Madrid.

Verratti, Silva, Aurier would start on every team in Europe imo.

I would say they'd start everywhere except here. Well, Verratti would. Silva possibly but I'm not too sure. Aurier definitely would not start over Lahm, although of course there's the age factor there so things will be different in a couple years time.

However, they just have a terrible manager like Blanc that really failed them. Team wise, PSG is stack and just needs a good mananger, unlike Blanc.

Can you enlighten us please? Who the fu** are PSG???

Aurier would because I do not think lahm can play fullback for a full season, which is why he wanted to move to midfield and probably why he retired from germany. I would assume he knows his body better than anyone else and him quitting the national team and always vouching for a midfield role was basically him saying I cannot play fullback anymore on a constant basis (or at least the level we are use to seeing from him). Obviously, if this was a younger Lahm, aurier wouldn't, but Lahm is turning 33 and fullbacks require so much physically from players...

Lahm decided to retire while still at the top of the game. He might not want to fade like other players have. Silva wouldn't start before Boa and Hummels. Verrati might start alongside Arturo. Other than them no one would have a chance. PSG are a 5th-to-10th club. Similar in quality to Dortmund or Juventus. Top four are FCB, FCB, Real Madrid and Atlético de Madrid both on paper and on the grass.

Yes, silva wouldn't start.

Not like either hummels or boateng was on uefa TOTY ever or the fact most players and managers rate Silva the best modern day defender.

The same with Marcelo... but RM has been looking to replace him with someone better since 2010.

For God's sake... go and check what the player-voted FiFA/Fifpro team of the year was in 2013 (after the treble)... heads up... 4 Barça players vs 3 Bayern players... after 7-0.

Just because we won the title doesn't mean that individually they were better players....

https://www.whoscored.com/Matches/709896/Live

Boateng 7.0, Buyten 7.5

https://www.whoscored.com/Matches/709895/Live

Boateng 7.0, dante 7.9

If anything, when dante was good, dante was viewed better than boateng was.... even if it was 1-2 years...

THis was whoscored.com TOTY

https://www.whoscored.com/Regions/250/T ... tages/7228

When we won the title, Dante was argubly the better defender.

Dante was possibly the best defender in Europe that year, at least until the world cup. Yet he did not get any recognition. I mean, I wouldn't say he's better than those players because he only had one truly world class season, but based on form he deserved it that season.

I think because the voting is done on a calendar year basis and when Pep arrived to Munich, Dante looked like crap and was out of favored, so that could be one of the reasons.

My point is that professionals are as biased (and political) as 15yos.

Guys like Boateng (or Dante back in 13) will not get the recognition they deserve because they play in "little Bayernliga" and not for "Galacticos Madrid" or "best ever Barça".

It's the same logic by which a guy like Hazard is worth 100m while a guy like Mhikitaryan 30m according to the English media. Bet professionals would agree with those valuations irregardless of actual performances.

Same logic btw, which makes Kompany a top CB.
