Anybody seen how Barca took a penalty? Something like the failed attempt of the past by Pires/Henry at Arsenal but Barca executed it perfectly this time.

I saw the game, my jaw dropped several times.

The whole flow of the team's game was fantastic, I was really excited through-out the game.

On an italian tv they said that it was first performed in the 1950s by Belgium vs Iceland...
Then came Cruyf...
Lately it was a fail by arsenal and more recently it was also done in Korea while the score was still 0-0!!

I think that if some other player or a team had taken a penalty like that, they would have received much more criticism. But that's just my opinion.

They better not try that against us in the CL finale. :coffee:

Ronaldinho was the most arrogant player then. Any team should stop playing when winning 4-0 or 5-0 to show respect to their opponents

I was being sarcastic. Thing is, entertainment is different from being disrespectful. I personally enjoy those things Barca did on that game against Celta. That's the beauty of football. We should all enjoy it. In Brazil, they don't take it as disrespect. They call it Joga Bonito.

They don't need attention. They are always on the front page every week. Stop making it as negative thing because it wasn't. Even Celta players and coach didn't think it was disrespectful when asked by the interviewer on post match.

They did it to show off, so what? That's what you call entertainment in football. Just like when Messi nutmegs his opponents. Don't tell me you didn't enjoy Ronaldinho before because I'm sure you did.

So thinking outside the box is disrespectfull. Man, football must be a booring sport. And what about Ronaldinho, the guy was always happy on the pitch and i dont remember him having many fights. At his time, it didnt matter which club you were charing for, you had to love the guy. I loved how he trolled RM defense on those El Classicos ... Those were times .

Never liked Ronaldinho. In fact always disliked Brazilean football. I don't think Barça was disrespectful but it was clearly an attempt at graving attention, which I find stupid.
