A big lesson to those greedy fucks who thought they can do all this without telling the stars themselves because they assumed everyone thinks only about money, and also to the cynical ones here who yesterday were telling us there is no way the players will refuse that much money.

There should be consequences, no way they should be allowed to come out dry from the water

Good thing that footballing world and fans as whole showed the needed romanticism :D
Kudos to EPL fans since they started the movement against this shameless crime against football.

City is the first to leave officially. Chelsea will apparently release a statement in the morning, and Bartomeu said Barça will follow the socios' votes (which will be against the super league). Liverpool players are officially opposing it.

This whole super league BS is already weak without Bayern, PSG and City. It's only downhill from here.

No. I hope this is true, it’s even bigger cause to celebrate! It means they will definitely implode now. This is the end of the line for them.

The message is clear. Broadcasters are running away like its the plague. Players will leave them like it’s the Book of Exodus again. UEFA now already have more currently strong clubs left in the CL than the Super League (Bayern, PSG and City vs Real and Liverpool).

I hope they keep trying for it. It will ensure their destruction.

And let's be real, Barça are cowards. They're probably waiting for the whole thing to collapse on its own, afraid they would have to pay a fine to leave now.

Two things.

First is that there's no doubt in my mind that Perez would pay the Spanish media to try and keep the narrative on his side. What is said right now might be technically correct but I'm totally confident it's all falling apart sooner than later.

Second is that it may be true about Barcelona, but only because they're broke as hell and it's probably their best chance to get some cash infusion.
God Bless Thomas Müller
