Faced with the threat of the ESL, UEFA came up with a stupid relaxation of the FFP rules (no wonder, given that one of the two relevant clubs that resisted the ESL is the worst infringer of FFP).

PD: what the BuLi clubs propose is even more stupid.

What exactly is bad about that demand? Aren’t you against Petrodollars in this sport?
Yes, but not implemented that way. Im not against money in general, just specifically money from oil sheiks and Russian mafiosi.

But that's not the point. FFP has already been running for a decade or so and didn't work. It didn't because the bad guys always find workarounds. And they will continue to find workarounds to these dumb approaches. Specifically because these are the definition of anti-competitive behavior and wouldn't stand in courts.

Otoh, I'm strictly against hard salary/spending caps.
Well, where else would money come from?

That is the way of life. You don't see me challenging McGregor to a fist fight do you? Neither does any BuLi team other than Bayern (and maybe Dortmund) have any business challenging Real Madrid for the CL (or even Sevilla for the EL).

I would if I knew any :)

It was between McGregor and Pacquiao, but Pacquiao is busy running for president, so McGregor it was.

In the meantime a Maltese team who was robbed by an Irish Ref during the penultimate Rd before the playoff in the Conference League; was yesterday robbed again this time by the administration.
Three players and the coach were given fives games suspension plus the club was ordered to pay some 13K

Strong with the weak , weak with the strong...

You do not really think assaulting, insulting and spitting at match officials is to be allowed to go unpunished, right?

Tell you what, if you see a policeman doing a mistake, try doing all that to him and see what happens.

I think they were super lenient with them if you ask me.

I saw it all...
There was nothing of what that sob wrote in the report.
One of them was inviting him to see the replays on his phone...
Not to mention that there was the var afaik and nothing happened.
If uefa are 1% series they should open a separate investigation on the Irish Ref.

For what he caused them to lose out on to , he should count himself lucky to still be able to blow the whistle...

So you're alleging that the officials made everything up? I mean what was in the report reeks of typical Maltese attitude.

European football is like watching a spitting image of the Eurozone.
More and more money and more on top of that to the rich while "pretending" to help the poor. Three tiers of "quality" while huge debts getting completely out of control. Destined to fail eventually.

We have been watching a soulless crap for the last 10-15 years. Nobody cares about football for a long time ago.

I know what match you’re referring to and you’re definitely correct there but I’m not familiar with this story from yesterday.

Imagine the UEFA actually had any balls for once. They even tend to drop FFP which is already a joke anyway..
